Seaford Club has one of the best downland courses in the south, with views of the Sussex Downs on one side and the English Channel on the other. Golfers will find a top quality course which will be both a challenge to the best players and a very satisfying experience for those with higher handicaps. The course plays longer than its absolute yardage suggests. Being set high up on the South Downs the wind is nearly always a significant factor. Similarly the rapid drainage of water through the underlying chalk ensures that the course is rarely closed for play in winter while providing a different challenge in summer with firm fairways and greens.
